Ana Torres
Ana is the Director of Operations for Rediscovering Our American Dream, whose mission is to document the stories of every American experience and to see how these conversations can foster change and Project Director at Turner Conoly Group.
Ana Torres is a political consultant who lives deep in the heart of Texas. Wanting to help turn her native state blue, Ana became politically involved by organizing with the Beto for Senate campaign and then becoming the Latinx Community Liaison with Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo’s Civic Saturday’s Program. There, Ana helped educate Spanish speaking constituents utilize county wide services and connect issue based needs to corresponding county representatives. Implementing a voter registration program as a Regional Director for Battleground Texas, she oversaw efforts in multi-county and multi-city voter registration initiatives, working closely with the Harris County Democratic Party and with school districts for student voter drives. She joined the Warren for America campaign as a Community Regional Organizing Director, working with constituency grasstops and groups to energize their communities for the 2020 Presidential Election. She has worked with the progressive tech company GetThru to power campaigns to connect with their volunteers and with Collective Campaigns to get local progressive candidates in Austin. Ana served as a Project Manager for Sujata Strategies, whose mission is to guide movement organizations and their leaders. Ana is a trainer with the National Democratic Training Committee, helping prepare and equip future electeds and their campaigns with the training and tools they need for success.
